Those of you who know me know that animals are my life, my passion...it's simply where my heart is!!

After accomplishing a four year photo project in New Zealand's Southern Alps, publishing a beautiful coffee table book, having an ever changing greeting card range and getting some more practise in post production while working at one of Christchurch's best known family photo studios for a while...

I wanted to come up with something new, something unique, something that combines my passion for art & photography in a way that excites me!! Something that is appealing, timeless and so very special that I am thrilled to be able to offer this new product to my clients.

While time moves on and live gets busier with family, kids and the animals in my life, the days have become rather short to make ample space for being creative. I find myself in the ever growing dispute of either starting a new painting or just photograph.

To me time has come to combine both, my passion for painting and creating artwork with my passion for photography. 
Both art forms have always been part of my life since I can remember but they were always two separate things.

I am now fusing modern digital photography with canvas, oil paint and varnish to create something so unique, beautiful and  special that I believe my customers will love it too.

Photography

Those of you who know my style of pet photography know that I go into great detail of getting to know my furry photo model before I start any photography session with your pet.
I want and need to know as much as possible about the animal I am about to photograph. Only then can I be certain to capture exactly what my client is after - the character, the beauty, the cheekiness or grace of their fur baby. 
And as for anything that involves animals, patience is the most important virtue :-)

Oil Painting Finish

Once you have chosen your favourite photo(s) of your photography session I will design your art piece.
Your photo will be printed locally on highest quality canvas but without the lamination process. This provides the perfect base to paint over, add detail and highlights to the photo print. 
The sky is the limit... I can add extra texture to background, bring out your pets fur structure etc.
Once the oil paint has dried your canvas will be varnished to protect your Masterpiece and to keep it look it's best for years to come.

Custom Framing

Every painting deserves to be framed!!

Your Portrait will be fitted with a custom frame by our local professional framers who pride themselves in using only the best quality frames. Together we have sourced some top shelf frame moulds that don't just look absolutely stunning but make every Canvas Masterpiece complete.
To suit individual taste and interior we have a selection of contemporary and ornate frames available.
