Is it just me or is the year just rushing by!? But I must admit it is good to see the days are getting longer again and with that the time we can spend outdoors with our fur babies too :-)
I have been super busy with my book project and haven't given you an update of how things are going...
End of May I completed the photography work with dog number 101 on the beach in Southshore/Christchurch and have been editing up a storm to get the chosen photos ready for the book. June was a blur as I simply worked on the design and layout and every single page to make the photos look it's best.
It's all about writing up the stories now, which I leave to the wonderful writer Rebekah Orr, and then fitting them in with the images....another challenge that I haven't thought of when doing the image layout... So, there will be some time spent to make it all work!!
However, end of July is my deadline month to get the book ready for a first draft print!!! So, it's all GO :-)
I am very excited to see it all come together and can't wait to share the book with all the dog lovers out there!!
So, here is a little sneak peak of what it will look like...enjoy :-)
This is a book project to raise awareness of the many more abandoned and unwanted dogs in New Zealand and to raise funds for the rescue organisations Christchurch Bull Breed Rescue & Second Chance Dog Rescue.
